Airflow, first published in 1984, was written at the request of a publisher, Australasian Educa Press, the Australian division of a Company based in the Netherlands. They wanted a book in simple language suitable for use in secondary schools, to cover all aspects of aerodynamics from the effects of destructive winds, to parachuting, sailing, flying and power generation. This work is still to be found in school libraries in Australia. AEP eventually closed down their Australian branch. The book was then taken up by the English publisher, Nexus Special Interests. With some improvements in layout and design, the new edition was published in 1998.
